Carl is seated at his kitchen table, which has various papers, envelopes, a notepad, and a calculator on it. He is in the process of writing something down when a timer from the oven goes off. He gets up to check on the food he's cooking, in this case chicken. He sets the timer for another five minutes, then grabs some of the dishes that have spread out on the counter and places them in the sink. He turns on the faucet, but nothing comes out.
He asks loudly, "Hey, Poppie?"
"Yes?" she replies from the living room.
"Can you check the bathroom sink? See if anything comes out?"
He walks to the living room and sees her in the bathroom, staring at the sink in confusion. "Try the shower?" he suggests.
She does so, and nothing comes out from there either. "Is something wrong?" she asks.
"Why the fuck did we get our water turned off?!" he exclaims. "The landlord said he fixed the broken pipe, so

It is three in the morning and Frida is the only one in the computer lab. She is logged onto the Misery High chatroom. She looks at her list of contacts. Nobody is online. Despite this, she opens a message to Belinda and starts to type.
Frida: I know you're not online. Gomen, but I don't know who to talk to.
Frida: I don't think I actually have any friends besides you. :C
Frida: I like the girls in the Otaku club but I couldn't talk to them about this.
Frida: And the other ghosts kind of scare me. Evangeline-sempai would just insult me if I talked to her. Beevy-chan would yell.

MH Prompts: Caught the Capgras Part 1Ladies and gentlemen and folks who fall outside of the traditional gender binary, I, Evangeline Gertrude Mortman, will present you with a case study. In this case study, I will show an event as well as the characters involved. From there, I will give three possible causes for this event, and evidence to support these. In order to present my case better, I will provide scenes without the thoughts of the characters involved.
I, of course, have tapped into the minds of everyone involved and can say for sure what, exactly, caused this to happen. That isn't very fun though, is it, my dear readers?
The event is the dissolution of a marriage, a relationship, and a family. A man began to fall out of love with his wife and the mother of his child, and for this and other reasons, filed for divorce. To use the vocabulary of my fellow ghost Frida Fairburn, their ship sunk.
Now that that has been established, I will introduce the characters.
The first character is a twenty year old man named Carl H

EXT. CITY STREET – DAY
Phoebe and Harvey walk one way down a street and Isaac and Leroy walk down another. At this point, Isaac and Leroy are no longer holding hands. The four of them stop, slowly studying each other.
PHOEBE:
I feel I should apologize for my behavior earlier. My comments were both inappropriate and uncalled for.
HARVEY:
Yeah, and I'm sorry I didn't-... That I was being a dick.
ISAAC:
I'm sorry I kicked you, Phoebe, and I'm sorry I acted immaturely.
There's a moment's pause. Harvey and Phoebe both look at Leroy, who sighs.
LEROY:
I'm sorry I kept snapping at all of you.
ISAAC:
Right. So, we still have a few hours until any of us need to get back, right? Anyone have suggestions for what we could do?
Nobody replies to this.
ISAAC:
I'm going to make us go back to the park and play with a frisbee if you guys don't start coming up with suggestions.
PHOEBE:

No, this picture didn't have shading. So I added some with the dodge and burn tools in photoshop. Woot! I don't know why I did, but meh. Stacy gets no background or shading. Sucks to be her.

Anyways, this is Annie, and yes, she was supposed to go as Princess Serenity to the prom. However, her mom didn't like the idea so she said she was going to let Annie get her hair and make-up done professionally...and instead "lost" the dress and gave her this look instead. Who knew Mrs. Frederickson had good taste?

But yeah, Annie's meeting up with her date here and is explaining the change of outfit nervously. Personally I think it's for the better. She actually looks pretty, which was what I was going for. Ordinarily she's just cute. As for the design of the dress...IDK. It's weird but I think it works.

Okay, for Jane, I was thinking she'd have an elegant, black dress, kinda like Audrey Hepburn or Rita Hayworth, with her hair tied back into a high ponytail. Her corsage would be a small but fresh Violet Carson rose (like this: [link] ) worn on the wrist.

For Holmes, a classic black tuxedo (black jacket, cummerbund, socks, shoes, and bow tie, and a white dress shirt) professionally tailored, flattering his figure but not calling undue attention to his musculature. Naturally, his hair would be slicked back and immaculately groomed.

They should be holding hands as they enter the school gym (where the prom is being held), with a faint blush on Jane's cheek, with a palpable romantic tension between the two. Alternatively, you could show them ballroom dancing.
